Dating

I have never been married.  I am over 40. I am pretty damn good looking and take good care of myself.  I am self supportive and a professional and I am not a realtor.  You do the math.  I have had thousands of dates and many boyfriends, lasting from 2 weeks to three years.  Most in the months, though.  I have been on every dating site, except the free ones.  Why would I want a man who can't afford to pay at least one month for a dating site.  I asked a man why he was on the dating site Plenty of Fish, he responded "it is free, I dont have the money to really take a woman out so I am just using the site as an experiment to see if women are interested in me." Yikes and this was coming from a man over 40.

I did the Match thing many times over. Yawn. Maybe it works for women in New York. But for the rest of us I gotta think the commercials are being filmed in Canada. I got a lot of dates, don't get me wrong.  Just never the right person, at least for me.  Eharmony, I met a very handsome guy who thought pot smoking was more important then women, and yes he was a wealthy, athletic professional.  But, dude he was way too out of sight for me and so was his body parts. I tried JDate and found the same men on Jdate were on Match however they were twenty years older and had a love for Hawaiian shirts.

Dating is not easy.  When women over 40 who age Gracie fully and feel confident, they want to find some real eternal love.  But the men we feel we can connect with, the men who we feel  have something to offer  seem to want much younger women.  Not so much for their bodies but for their minds. Mind control to Major Tom. Well truthfully we women over 40 don't want those overbearing  men who deny their power struggles with  Mr. Martini and Cialis. We certainly would welcome the younger man.  If the younger man would welcome us with true love without the notion of being trapped in the den of the land of the lions oh my!
